2005 Trip Reports

A relatively early season hike to two 14ers in the Collegiate Peaks.

I did a snow climb up Dead Dog Couloir for my third time up Torreys Peak.

This is a snow climb on the north face of Pikes Peak.

A snow climb of the Northwest Couloir on Crestone Peak.

This is a fun snow climb to Conundrum Peak followed by a traverse to Castle Peak.

I met the infamous Jeff Kunkle on this training hike up the Manitou Incline.

I made it to the summit of the state high point of North Dakota.

I was able to hike to another state high point on my return to Colorado.

This was a difficult scramble to the Maroon Bells including the traverse between the two mountains.

Another difficult scramble to Pyramid Peak with Mark and Sara.

While hiking this remote 14er, I made it to the summit of a few additional points.

A friend was visiting from Idaho and we took the week to hike several 14ers.
