After a couple of years with nominal hiking and climbing, 2017 was kind of my return to the mountains. I didn't go crazy, but I certainly got out much more this year when compared to 2015 and 2016. My snow climbing season was motivated by a planned trip to hike the Wyoming state highpoint in July. My long-time climbing partner Brian also coaxed my back into ice climbing in the fall. I actually went ice climbing 22 times in the 2017/2018 ice climbing season. I also went on 51 rides and over 700 miles on my mountain bike. Since I stopped maintaining my original website in 2014, the pictures are limited from 2015 through 2018 as they weren't a priority the few times I did get out.
