Description

This snow climb was the beginning of my training for a planned trip to Gannett Peak in July 2017.  I simply wanted to get a lot of vertical in without any significant time commitment.  Since I had not climbed Dead Dog Couloir in 12 years, I thought it would be a good idea to go up the route again.  It was a quick day that had me home early in the afternoon.
