Description

I was working in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, and found Iron Mountain on the peakbagger website and Lists of John website.  The statistics were perfect for a short hike after work in the evening.  I intentionally stopped on the road approximately 1,000' below the summit in order to get a fair amount of vertical in.  I hiked up the road until I got to the no trespassing signs for the Glenwood Adventure Park.  At that point, I cut east on a good trail for a bit and then turned south and hiked cross country to the summit on game trails.
