Description

My latest assignment in Del Norte, Colorado, was coming to an end, so I decided to hike Del Norte Peak, which is south of South Fork, Colorado, rather than closer to Del Norte, Colorado, go figure. I had to drive a fair way on easy gravel forest service roads to get close to the peak. It was actually a beautiful drive in a great part of the state. It took me an hour to reach the summit, which ended up being very windy. I only stayed for 5 minutes to take a few photos and then returned to my vehicle in 35 minutes.
