Description

I hadn't been out this season, and Nick had never climbed Tonys Nightmare. As a result, we headed up to the climb on New Year's Eve. There was significantly less snow on the approach due to the unseasonably dry winter Colorado has had so far this year. We soloed a short step before I lead a second short easy pitch that we soloed in prior years as it was mostly covered in snow in the past. I then slogged my way up to the money pitch where Nick was waiting for me. He led it a couple of times and I followed or top-roped until I had to head back to Denver, Colorado.
