Description
Brian, Kennedy, and I went to Vail, Colorado, for a couple days of relatively late season ice climbing. It was Kennedy's first introduction to longer and steeper ice climbing after having a couple of sessions on easier ice in Clear Creek Canyon. The approach to the climb took us 45 minutes and no one else was around. Brian and I got several leads in on the west flow while Kennedy continued to work on technique. We hiked over to the east flow and each got a lap in on that side of Firehouse Falls too. After climbing, we had dinner in Frisco, Colorado, and then retired to Brian's condo to watch some March Madness basketball.
