Description

This was my first time at the Spiral Staircase in five years.  Brian was getting out with a new climbing partner, so I took leave to join them.  We each led the Spiral Staircase and then hiked up to The Pencil and The Eraser.  We each led The Eraser (mine was a sport lead) and then got several laps in on the steep ice in the middle of the flow on top rope.
