Description

Brian and I had been working on the Colorado Centennial Peaks during the spring and most of the summer and hoped to get a few more in before winter set in.  After a snow storm and miserable forecast for this particular Friday, we didn't have any interest in a sufferfest.  As a result, we checked ice conditions and learned that Lincoln Falls was already in shape to climb.  We left Denver, Colorado, around 7:30 and were hiking by 9:00.  There was only one other party of two ahead of us.  We climbed the main gully and the left side of the upper curtain.  We walked off and then climbed the center gully and the right side of the upper curtain.  The walk off kinda sucked, so we rapped down and called it a day as more parties were arriving.  We stopped off at Broken Compass Brewery and Pug Ryan's Brewing Company for after-climb refreshments.
