Description
It had been 11 years since I hiked Mount Bierstadt. My daughter surprised me and asked to hike another 14er. We had done Grays Peak back in 2012. We got up fairly early and Kennedy didn't sleep much the night before. We didn't get a spot in the parking lot and simply parked along the road to Guanella Pass. There were a lot of people on the mountain and that trail is getting hammered. We took our time and enjoyed spending the day together. Kennedy got sick on the summit, but recovered quickly.
