Description

This is my seventh year in a row of making a climbing trip to Ouray, Colorado, with a group of friends.  For the past several years, we've rented a house and had a fun long weekend of climbing, eating, and cocktails.  For the first day of the trip, Jeff, John, Dan, Austin, and I went up to Dexter Creek Slabs which has become a favorite out-of-the-ice-park climb for us.  We soloed the first short pitch and then ice bouldered up to the base of the upper two pitches.  Dan and Jeff led the first fun pitch and brought Austin, John, and myself up to a screw anchor belay.  Austin and I led the second pitch.  We all rappelled back to the base of the climb and made our way to the hot tub before dinner at the Outlaw.
