Description

I was working in Ouray, Colorado, for the week, so I decided to drive up Yankee Boy Basin and hike Mount Sneffels one evening.  I was able to drive all the way to the upper four-wheel-drive trailhead which I arrived at around 5:15.  It took me around an hour to get up and slightly less to get back down.  Hiking a 14er after work was fun.  There was still a small snowfield at the top of the upper gully that required careful footing for approximately 100'.
