Description

I was working in Colorado Springs, Colorado, again.  Rather than going up the Manitou Incline again, I went up to St. Peters Dome with Tom.  It is a short hike, but worth it if you are looking for a something quick in the area.  There is a trail most of the way, but towards the top you have to scramble on the rocks to reach the summit.  Once on the main summit, I down climbed some low class 5 rock on the north side in order to make it to a notch between the twin summits.  The scramble to the northern point was easy from the notch.  Rather than descending to the trail from the notch, I reclimbed the main point up a different low class 5 chimney to see that Tom was already heading down the opposite side.
