Description

I've been trying to check out Moffat Tunnel Ice for a couple of years and finally had a chance to get up there with Jeff.  Since it was a Friday, we weren't too concerned about crowds so we left Highlands Ranch, Colorado, at 8:15 and made our way to the Moffatt Tunnel.  We missed the initial turn to the ice and ended up getting in a fairly good aerobic workout breaking deep trail.  I got a lead in on the left and right side of the flow.  We ran a lot of laps on the steep middle section of the ice too.
