Description

Lucky Peak is the prominent foothill just east of Boise, Idaho, with the large antenna station on the top.  This particular trail probably sees more bikes than hikers for a couple of reasons.  First of all, it is part of the Ridge to Rivers trail system, which is predominantly used by bikers, and it is essentially a gravel road to the top.  This was another training hike as I was trying to say in shape.  It took me 2 hour and 10 minutes to get to the top and 1 hour and 20 minutes to get back down.  The statistics are a bit different from last year because I took a different route on a couple of sections.
