Description

I was in Spokane, Washington, for the day, so there is where I started my 2001 hiking season with a stroll along the Little Spokane River. The trail is northwest of Spokane and begins in the Little Spokane River Natural Area. It was a relatively nice day for March and I only saw one other individual on the trail. I wasn't overly impressed with anything, but the hike was noted in the guidebook book that I am utilizing and it felt good to be outside again. The area actually offered some decent views especially for being located so close to Spokane.
