Description

The Roman Nose Lakes trails are very popular for families and any anyone looking for a short outing.  The round trip hike was only 3 miles and there was nominal elevation gain.  The hike was suggested in a guide book I was using so I decided to check it out.  To reach the Roman Nose trailhead, I simply continued past the Bottleneck trail approximately another 10 miles.  You essentially drive to the first lake and then hike to the other two.  As I mentioned earlier, this is an extremely easy hike with several foot bridges to assist with walking.  I still have the Nike stocking cap I am wearing in the second photo over 20 years later.
