Description

Just like 2011, Kevin and I celebrated Veterans Day with a bit of ice climbing.  We went up to Lincoln Falls and did two laps on the two pitch main gully with each of us getting a couple of leads in.  It was pretty cold to begin with and neither of us felt like pulling our cameras out, so we don't have any photos.  This is a good place to warm up for ice season since it comes in early and isn't terribly difficult.  In addition, I had just gotten a cast off my right arm about 10 days ago, so I wasn't sure how my wrist would perform after being recently broken mountain biking.  It held up well, but I didn't want to push my luck so we just ran the two laps before heading home.
